Hotel Admiral Am Zoo - Frankfurt am Main

The bed was particularly uncomfortable and lumpy, but the hotel had a quiet atmosphere away from the main hustle. The staff were attentive, quickly assisting when issues arose, and breakfast options were delicious, especially with the nearby cafes offering tasty alternatives. The room cleanliness left much to be desired, with dust covering almost every surface and lingering odors raising hygiene concerns. Sound insulation was poor, allowing noise from neighboring rooms to disrupt sleep.

In need of repair

Upon entry, a strong smoke odor permeated the non-smoking room, a major issue. The bathroom struggled with significant hygiene problems-hair on bedsheets and unsightly stains on pillows were evident. The shower had drainage issues, causing some water pooling, and there was excessive dust covering surfaces, which negatively affected the experience. The walls offered poor soundproofing. Noise from other guests echoed through the night.

Our room was nice designed with comfortable bed. Gentle and friendly staff, they helped us a lot.

We had a good stay for a short visit.

The breakfast was gorgeous and offered a lot of cheap food. The staff were all pleasant and exceptionally nice. Our accommodation was set in a very central location just off the shopping streets and old city centre and a quiet area.

Great location near Zeil with easy access to shops and cafes made exploring easy. The comfortable bed in my Double Room allowed for restful nights. The quiet atmosphere on the car park side offered peace despite city noise. Cleaning, however, was a significant issue. Upon arrival, the bathroom felt unclean, with brown stains on the toilet and a towel that didn't seem fresh. Despite requesting fresh towels, the bathroom wasn't cleaned properly even after a promise from the staff. The lack of proper soundproofing made it easy to hear conversations from neighboring rooms and outside, disrupting my sleep. Wi-Fi was reliable, but missing basic amenities like blackout curtains made it challenging to get a good night's rest, especially with bright street lights outside. While the location and comfort were strong points, serious improvements in cleanliness and maintenance are necessary.

We enjoyed our stay with the kids and my niece, especially the great location near the zoo and city center. It was lovely to explore the nice local cafes and see the nearby attractions without much hassle.

My wife says that the communication with the reception could be improved.

hotel fits the description, near the center and subway, breakfasts are good.

No kettle in the room.

Wi-fi was reliable, but housekeeping missed cleaning the dusty surfaces each day.

Good Breakfast. Reception desk was very helpful especially a lady named Katiya.

The bedsheets are not changed everyday. We stayed in a triple room. The room was too cramped for 3 ppl. There was absolutely no space to walk inside the room.

The room was big enough for 2 persons. The bathroom was very new and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Because we flew with Ryanair and found out that Frankfurt Hahn is a two hour drive from Frankfurts' centre we arrived at 3 o clock in the morning (Ryanair travellers take this into account!!!!) They received us with a warm welcome. Breakfast is fine and there is enough choice.

It was not hot during the time we were there, but I did not see an airco in our room. This might be something to think about in the summer
